5 Films are set to clash at the Box Office for the first time in the past few years to gain the advantage of the Sankranthi Holiday season. Anywhere close to Rs 140 crore is at stake as per trade.
1 Nannaku Prematho:
With around Rs 50 crore pre-release business, this film is the major contributor and the first choice for Movie goers. The combination of Sukumar, NTR and Devi Sri Prasad has made the film a must see. Trailer and audio raised the expectations further.
2 Dictator:
With Rs 35-40 crore business, this Balakrishna’s 99th movie is expected to be a masala entertainer mainly targeted at family and mass Audiences. Despite the outdated storyline from trailer, the power of Balayya is expected to create a stormat box office.
3 Soggade Chinni Nayana:
With close to Rs 20 crore Budget, Nagarjuna Akkineni’s family entertainer set in village backdrop is expected to be the first choice for families this Festive Season.
4 Express Raja:
With around Rs 7-8 crore riding on the film starring Sharwanand, it was a risk to compete with biggies. It has good chances though with fresh content and comedy being its strengths.
5 Kathakali:
With around Rs 5-6 Crore riding, this Vishal starrer dubbed film has interesting trailer and if it has good content, it can make its presence felt too.
