As per latest reports, 11 Pakistani actors have been roped in for Rana Daggubati‘s new Film ‘Ghazi’.
After the success of ‘Baahubali’, Rana has become a national star and has signed multiple Movies. He has been roped in to play the lead role in ‘Ghazi’, a film based on the true story of submarine PNS Ghazi, which was submerged in sea near Visakhapatnam during the India-Pakistan war in 1971.
PNS Ghazi was Pakistan’s submarine targeted at India but Indian naval officers then cleverly submerged Ghazi in sea. As the film deals with Pakistan, makers have roped in 11 Pakistani theatre actors. They have been brought to India to act in this film.
The film is being directed by Sankalp Reddy based on the ‘Blue Fish’ novel written by him. Rana is playing a naval officer in the film. Owing to the pan India appeal of Rana, he has been chosen to play lead role. Taapsee Pannu has also been roped in to play the female lead.
