Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati, despite playing negative role in Rajamouli’s epic Film ‘Baahubali’, has garnered nationwide attention as an actor which he would not have got even with two blockbuster films.
It’s true but he must be regretting missing two golden blockbusters which could have established his position in Tollywood as leading hero.
Blockbuster ‘One’:
Kalyan Ram’s blockbuster ‘Pataas’, the film released in 2015 January was the first hit of 2015. Debutant director Anil Ravipudi had actually wanted to rope in Rana but as the hunk was busy with Baahubali, Kalyan Ram hit jackpot.
Blockbuster ‘Two’:
Critically acclaimed commercial blockbuster film ‘Thani Oruvan’. This Tamil film script first came to Rana’s table but he rejected it as he couldn’t allot dates amidst Baahubali.
Jayam Ravi made the film in Tamil and scored a huge blockbuster. The same film is now being remade in Telugu with Ram Charan as lead. This is the second blockbuster Rana missed for the cause of Baahubali.
Well, Rana must not have any regrets as Baahubali is once in a lifetime kind of film and he must consider himself lucky.
