In the recent times, Bollywood has produced many Films based on real life incidents and scored hits at Box Office, thanks to interesting screenplay, already existing publicity and curiosity.
In the coming two months, we are going to witness two more Movies based on real life incidents. Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift” and Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ are the two movies to narrate the biggest adventures showcasing the courage and sacrifice put up by common man, an Indian, for the country and people.
Sonam Kapoor’s “Neerja” is the of a 23 year old air hostess Neerja Bhanot, who lost her life while saving passengers from the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73. The incident took place on 5th September 1986, will be gracing the silver screen on 19th February 2016.
Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift” is based on the Gulf War in 1990. Iraq invaded Kuwait and brutally executed many people including businessmen and politicians. Film narrates the story of an Indian businessman, who had helped the Indian Government carry out the biggest human evacuation in the history of mankind. This film will hit screens on 22nd January 2016.
