Power star Pawan Kalyan and super star Mahesh Babu are the uncrowned kings of Telugu cinema. They have proved that just with average content, they can deliver blockbusters. They are very similar in nature.
We have observed a striking coincidence between the two which has been proved four times. The directors to whom these two gave chaces for the second time, have delivered flops.
In the case of Pawan, Bheemineni Srinivas who gave hit with ‘Suswagatham’, gave flop with ’Annavaram’. Karunakaran followed up ‘Balu’ to sensational hit ‘Tholi Prema’. Puri Jagannath gave ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ after blockbuster ‘Badri’. SJ Suriya delivered disaster ‘Puli’ after ‘Kushi’.
However, TriVikram erased this sentiment by giving ‘Attharitiki Daredi’ after ‘Jalsa’, two hits.
Coming to Mahesh, gunasekhar delivered duds like ‘Arjun’ and ‘Sainikudu’ after ‘Okkadu’. After ‘Athadu’, Trivirkam delivered ‘Khaleja’. Post the Industry hit ‘Pokiri’, Puri disappointed fans with ‘businessman’. Srinu Vytla followed up ‘Dookudu’ with disaster ‘Aagadu’.
Just like Trivikram to Pawan, Srikanth Addala is to Mahesh, as the director is second time calling the shots for Mahesh for ‘Brahmotsavam’ after ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’.
If the sentiment continues, ‘Brahmotsavam’ will be super duper hit.
