Sania Mirza began the day by adding the 2016 Australian Open Women’s doubles crown alongside her partner Martina Hingis. Their unbeaten streak of 36 matches includes a hat-trick of Grand Slams.
Two:
Next, Indian Women defeated Australia to take a 2-0 lead in the T20I series. After restricting the mighty hosts to 125, Indian Women chased down the revised target of 66 in 10 overs with utmost ease, thus scripting history.

MS Dhoni & Co ended the day on a successful note by beating the hosts. After losing the five-match ODI series 1-4, team India went on to win T20I series 2-0 with one game still to play. It was the First Ever bilateral series win for team India in Australia.
The win was dominated by the batting heroics of Kohli and Rohit Sharma and followed by the efforts of Indian spinners Ashwin, Jadeja and Yuvraj.
