A study recently conducted and released by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Cancer Institute asserted that India along with Bangladesh make up 80 per cent of smokeless tobacco users on the planet.
The study also revealed that almost the entire concentration of smokeless tobacco users in the world is in Southeast Asia.
In excess of 300 million individuals in 70 nations utilize these tobacco items and 89 per cent of them live in Southeast Asia which also has highest oral cancer rate in the world.
