In a shockingly outrageous incident, a woman was raped by 2 men inside the canteen at reputed IT giant Infosys.
The victim was working as a cashier at the canteen of Infosys’s branch in Pune. The 25-year-old woman was raped by two men inside the washroom of the canteen at the Infosys Phase 1 campus on 27th December. Furthermore, they even shot the rape Video and threatened her with dire consequences if she at all approaches the police.
Although the incident happened on 27th it came to light on 29th of this month, today. Two suspects have been taken into custody.
There have been numerous incidents involving Women techies working at odd hours facing sexual problems and becoming pray to rapists while returning home. However, the Pune incident is the first of its kind as the victim was raped and criminally assaulted right inside the workplace of IT giant like Infosys where thousands of employees work.
It is still a mystery that no one caught the act despite thousands of employees working at the campus.
