Few female fans of Latin Pop Singer Enrique Iglesias actually removed their bras and threw them at the singer at the ‘Love and Sex’ concert of the pop rockstar.
The ‘Love and Sex’ concert of the Latin pop singer took place in Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo and it became controversial for the bold acts committed by few female admirers of Enrique. While some of the girls removed their bras and underwear to throw at the singer, few others rushed on stage to kiss him.
Srilanka President Maithripala Sirisena has expressed his displeasure by the behavior of the female admirers of the Enrique Iglesias. Sirisena said that throwing their underwear and bras at him was uncivilized and not accepted in Sri Lanka.
The president expressed anger at the organizers of the concert and added that the government would be stricter in the future about pop stars performing in the country. In fact the concert was produced by Live Events, an entertainment firm owned by Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara, the two legendary Cricketers of the country.
Sri Lanka is a very conservative society and public display of affection is considered weird there.
