Superstar Aamir Khan and top Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma are named the hottest vegetarians of year 2015 by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). It is well known that Aamir and Anushka paired up in Raj Kumar Hirani’s alltime blockbuster Film ‘PK’.
The duo had to beat strong competitors including mega star Amitabh Bachchan, cute actress Alia Bhatt, queen Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, Madhavan and National Award winning actor Dhanush.
Vegans are refrain from not only eating animal products and by-products like eggs, dairy products, honey etc. but are also prohibited from using leather, fur, silk, wool, cosmetics, soaps etc. that are derived from animal products.
“It is very important what you eat, as that is what you are. So it’s very important to make sure you’re eating enough vegetables and drinking enough water, which I’ve always done,” said Anushka in a statement. On the other hand, Aamir decided to turn vegan after watching a Video shown by his wife Kiran Rao.
