H R Khan, Deputy Governor of RBI (Reserve Bank of India) welcomed the deal between nation’s largest mobile telephony player Airtel and Kotak Mahindra Bank for a payment bank, saying the RBI has been pushing for such tie-ups for long.
Addressing an event organised by ETNow, Khan said “If they have cost effective system, use mobile and telco newtork, then they can be successful.”
