North Korea has today dropped a bomb on the world by announcing to have successfully tested a hydrogen bomb, a move violating the UN resolutions barring its capital city Pyongyang from conducting any kind of nuclear tests.
The UN said it was in no position to confirm the test since no recording station around the world confirmed the Korean nuclear test so far. However, a White House press release condemned the hydrogen bomb test by North Korea. According to the UN resolutions, North Korea is barred from all nuclear and missile tests.
On the other hand, Pyongyang stated that it had successful tested the hydrogen bomb for self-defence only and the test was performed at 10 am local time. North Korea claims it as a major advancement to its military ambitions. The country reached a higher level of Nuclear power with this remarkable achievement.
Hydrogen Bombs are much powerful than Plutonium Weapons. They could create 100 times bigger impact than the atomic bombs which were exploded in Japan in 1945 during World War 2.
