In response to the BJP-led government’s negligent behaviour towards Andhra Pradesh people concerns over special category status issue which had promised by TDP-BJP alliances back in 2014 General Elections, South Superstar and Jana Sena Party supremo Pawan Kalyan has once again taken to Twitter to slam it’s dishonesties.
Pawan Kalyan started his tweets by exposing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP’s absence in the Parliament, and said “It’s quite disheartening to see Hon. Minister Sri. Ashok Gajaathi Raju garu’s silence and the absence of TDP MP’s in the parliament when the discussion of special status to AP came up. TDP do not have the right to compromise on the promised ‘Special Category Status’ with centre as ‘people of AP’ got TDP & BJP into power trusting they would bring ‘SCS’.”
“I too agree that restraint and caution should be shown with the centre, but when repeated injustice is being meted out to us then where is the need?” Pawan Kalyan said.
Regardless of political differences with YSR Congress party, Pawan Kalyan has appreciated YSR Congress Party MPs who are doing their part for special status at centre.
“YSRCP MPs are doing a commendable job in pursuing AP Spl status at centre,” Pawan Kalyan tweeted, , sharing a newspaper report featuring the statements made by YSR Congress MP Vijaya Sai Reddy on the floor of Parliament.
“I think TDP MPs have forgotten the insult of their MPs getting beaten up by North MPs in the Parliament during State bifurcation. I request TDP, “DO NOT mortgage THE SELF RESPECT”of the people of AP to centre for your personal benefits,” Pawan Kalyan said.
Pawan Kalyan further thanked two TRS MPs, Kesava Rao and Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar, for their support to the cause.
