Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan’s Message On “North vs South” Issue Was Eye-Opening.
South Indian people are now making sure that their voices are heard pertaining to concerns over BJP led NDA Government’s continuous efforts to impose Hindi on non-hindi residents of the country.
A part from the Political Leaders from various parties, people from the South states too are expressing their concerns on social media platforms saying BJP has constantly been failing to recognize the cultural diversity of the country, and this kind of turns may disturb the unity of the nation.
Recently, DMK working President and treasurer, MK Stalin slammed the Central Government for imposing Hindi on non-Hindi residents of the country, and he asked the government to give up its efforts to sideline non-Hindi speaking people.
Stalin also said that right from the day of assuming power, the BJP-led central government has been making efforts to destroy and decimate the unity of the nation.
Now, South Superstar and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan responded on the issue and criticized North political Leadership on the issue of “North-South” disparity.
Pawan Kalyan took to Twitter to express his concerns and said, “ North Indian Political leadership should understand & respect the cultural diversity of our Country.”
“If centre doesn’t respect the Sub-National identity in a country like ours; which is known for its cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity then.. they are creating fertile breeding grounds for separatist movements,” Pawan Kayan tweeted.
In response to Pawan Kalyan remarks, Social activists, political leaders from different parties are adding their opinion. A popular poet and social activist ‘Gaddar’ is one of them who said he agreed to Pawan comments.
On the contrary, BJP at centre is trying to defend their self by saying our government is not imposing hindi on anyone.
In response to DMK leader Stalin’s remarks, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said, “No question of imposing Hindi on anyone, learning Hindi is useful. People are playing politics.”
But the fact of the matter based on the news reports on various media Outlets is, BJP leaders from the North India had reportedly said that their government was planning to promote the Hindi in routine conversations in government offices and in North East and South India to make the language more popular.
Still, a national government promoting a single language in a multi language country is against the notion of multiculturalism, political pundits say.
