2 Lakh Fine for Watching Piracy of THIS Film

Piracy has become the biggest problem for the Filmmakers in the recent times. The same problem has now become a headache for the makers of Ram’s latest hit Nenu Sailaja that was released on 1st January.

As this film has been termed a hit, the people who download pirated copies from the internet have become alarmingly high. Hence makers announced strict measures to eradicate this piracy, which is eating the revenues of makers.

Producer of the film, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore has revealed that his team is tracking the IP’s of the people who are downloading the pirated version of the film. A sophisticated software is being used for this purpose and Rs 2 lakh fine will be imposed through Indian law.

The Producer said that recently an Australian court permitted Oscar Award winning film ‘Dallas Movie Buyers Club’ to impose $5000-7000 Australian fine on users who watch pirated film. He also reminded that Warner Brothers Studio imposes 20$ fine on people who watch their pirated films.

For the first time a Telugu film producer is going to take legal action on pirated viewers.
