Fans of star heroes are going to offensive lengths these days to make derogatory comments against other actors and technicians, especially after the evolution of social media.
Popularly known as Chalaki Chanti from the hit comedy show Jabardasth, Telugu comedian Chanti has been the target of severe verbal attack on Facebook over the past few days.
Reportedly a youth from Illendu village, Khammam district, recently published a derogative post against Chanti and abused him for mimicking Young Rebel Star Prabhas. In no time, fanatic fans of Prabhas started calling Chanti to abuse him using unParliamentary language.
Vexed with this unexpected verbal attack, Chanti visited Illendu and filed a police case against the youth who first published the FB post. The police quickly nabbed the culprit. Upon investigation, he said that he only reposted the comments that he had seen on some other post on Facebook.
Chanti finally clarified that he never abused Prabhas and appealed fans of Prabhas not to resort to verbal attacks against him without knowing the truth. He made a lengthy post on Facebook to make Peace with all.
