Telangana state ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS)’s poll promise of ‘KG to PG Free Education’ scheme still remains on paper even after 18 months after the formation of the government.
The concept which was ordered to be prepared by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekharar Rao, is not yet prepared owing to lack of proper directives and support from the higher authorities. The implementation of the prominent scheme by the TRS government is still on papers only as no groundwork in this regard has started so far.
It was aimed at providing free education to all the students in the state from kindergarten to PG level. The State Government earlier announced to start this scheme in one school in each constituency last year itself but neither the school education department authorities nor higher education department officials have any clue over the proceedings.
