Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s daughter Divya is all set to make her silver screen debut with her father’s forthcoming Film “Theri”.
As per reliable reports, Divya will be seen as the Vijay’s daughter in the film. Yesteryear actress Meena’s daughter Nainika will be playing the grown up version of Divya. It may be recalled that Vijay’s son Sanjay had made his silver screen debut in the actor’s earlier film “Vettaikaran”.
Amy Jackson would be playing the role of Divya’s teacher in “Theri”. The unit recently wrapped up the shooting in Ladakh where Divya was also present to shoot her scenes. Samantha is playing the role of a doctor, as Ilayathalapathy’s wife. Post-production work will begin shortly.
‘Theri’ was originally planned for an April release but is likely to be advanced owing to the forthcoming general Assembly elections in the state. Makers have not yet confirmed the release date though.
The film is written and directed by Atlee of “Raja Rani” fame. Fans are curiously waiting for the Teaser of “Theri”, which is expected to be unveiled on 26th January.
