The pre-release piracy of Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Industry hit Film Attharintiki Daredi had jolted the Telugu film Industry in 2013 needless to say fans.
Now, a film is being made on this subject. Attharintiki Daredi’s piracy is the main subject with the add-ons being how it happened, who did it, what were their motifs etc. Titled Erupu, the film is being directed by Venkat Krishna. Produced by Anand Ranga of Siddharth and Shamili’s ‘Oye’ fame, the film’s Teaser was launched the other day.
First Impression one would get after watching the teaser is that makers are deliberately trying to cash in on the image of Pawan Kalyan by choosing such sensitive and controversial theme. The film seems to be made on a shoestring Budget with new actors.
The teaser ends with the footage of Pawan warning the pirates during the thanking meet of Atharintiki Dharedi. The makers might hope that at least Mega Fans will throng to theatres to watch the Movie to know about the people behind the piracy of ‘Atharintiki Daredi’.
