After the recent released action entertainer ‘Dictator’, reputed production house EROS is planning to bet again on Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna.
As per reports, EROS is planning to produce the 100th Film of Balakrishna, the sequel to his yesteryear sci-fi film Aditya 369. An official announcement will be out soon in this regard.
The sequel is titled Aditya 999 and will be directed by veteran Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, who had directed the original. Aditya 999 may commence the shoot in March and the pre-production is nearing completion. The film might be released for next Sankranthi. Taapsee is said to be on board to play the leading lady.
The 90s film was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. Released in 1991, Aditya 369 brought immense popularity to Balakrishna for attempting the sci-fi genre at that time. Balayya chose the sequel for this film as his prestigious 100th film rather than waiting for Boyapti Srinu for a long time to finish his commitments and prepare an action subject.
