Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, who was recently acquitted of the 2002 ‘Hit and Run’ case, is taking up ‘Happy Days’.
The actor is obviously happy but we are referring to the 200 Telugu Movie ‘Happy Days’. Yes, Salman Khan is going to remake this Film in Hindi on his production house, Salman Khan Films. Well, the actor is not playing lead role as the film is about Engineering students but he is just taking care of the production in association with another filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor, the director of ‘Mr. India’.
Director Sekhar Kammula, who directed the Telugu original, will direct the Hindi version as well. Script work is already ready and Sekhar Kammula is currently finalizing the actors it is heard.
After the flops of “Life Is Beautiful” and “Anamika”, the remake of super hit Bollywood movie “Kahaani”, Kammula’s name is not much heard in film circles these days. To bounce back from his flops, he decided to remake his biggest commercial hit, “Happy Days”. He will be making his Bollywood debut with this remake.
