Brazilian Football great Ronaldinho has escaped from a car accident in Kozhikode, Kerala, when a traffic signal light collapsed in front of his car.
Ronaldinho landed in Kozhikode on 24th January in to inaugurate the Nagjee football tournament being held after two decades. The next day morning, Ronaldinho was going to attend a function in a Government Girls High School in Kozhikode when the traffic signal light collapsed in front of the car he was Travelling in.
Despite the driver tried his Best to avoid the mishap, the traffic signal light fell on the car. No injuries are reported to the occupants of the car. The structure of the light had been defunct for several years said police.
The two-time Ballon D’Or winner Ronaldinho was a forward player in the Brazilian team that won the 2002 FIFA World cup.
