Chiranjeevi’s ‘Kaththi’ Forced to Stop

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s landmark comeback Film, the Telugu remake of Kaththi, which has already been delayed for so long, has found itself in a fresh trouble as the ‘Telugu Katha Hakkula Vedika’ headed by veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao has passed a resolution to halt the production of the film.

Dasari’s resolution came in the wake of the ongoing dispute between senior writer N Narasimha Rao and the makers of Kaththi over the story. Narasimha Rao has been claiming for long that the story was by penned him and he even registered it in the Cine Writer’s Association.

Ever since Murugdoss released the film in Tamil Nadu, the controversy has been going on. Despite a forum was established to sort out this issue, it is yet to be resolved.

Now, Dasari passed a resolution that Kaththi remake should go on floors only after resolving the issue. Dasari also stated that the Directors’ Association and Cine Workers Federation would stage non-cooperation against the production of the film until Narasimha Rao’s story issue is resolved.

Meanwhile, the pre-production works are going on at brisk pace. VV Vinayak will direct this film to be launched on March 27, the Birthday of Ram Charan.
