Wide eyed Kannada beauty Pranitha Subhash has been named ‘Baapu Bomma’ ever since she paired with Pawan Kalyan in Industry hit Film ‘Attharintiki Daredi’.
After acting in big ticket Tollywood films like Atharintiki Dharedhi, Rabhasa, Brahmotsavam etc. Pranitha became a popular actress in Telugu and Tamil. Hailing from Kannada film Industry, the Beautiful actress is now being trolled on social media after her support to the Telugu Warriors team in the just launched Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).
In the previous editions, Pranitha supported the Karnataka team but her shifting of loyalties to the Telugu team did not go down well with the Kannada fans who, started abusing her by calling her traitor.
Upset by the fury of few fanatics, Pranitha gave a soft clarification, “People think that we can choose which team we want to be a part of, but that’s not how it works. I have been doing several Telugu Films of late, which is perhaps why the Telugu team approached me. And I was happy to be a part of that team”.
“But after the first press meet, people started trolling me online and said things like, ‘I hate you now, how could you do this?’ There were some really rude comments. At first, I thought that I would reply to one or two people, but there were several of them. They were even using pictures to troll me, asking me why I had jumped teams and changed loyalties,“ added the actress.
She concluded by saying, “The truth is that I haven’t done that. If I had a chance, I would support all teams equally since everyone is deserving and all of it is about cinema.”
