The schedule of Asia Cup 2016 has been announced today.
Asia Cup will start from February 24 with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and a Qualifier(Q) (one of the four: Afghanistan, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong) in race. One of the four minnows will advance to the main league round based on the points.
February 24: India vs Bangladesh
February 25: Sri Lanka vs Q
February 26: Bangladesh vs Q
February 27: India vs Pakistan
February 28: Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka
February 29: Pakistan vs Q
March 1: India vs Sri Lanka
March 2: Bangladesh vs Pakistan
March 3: India vs Q
March 4: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka
March 6: Final
Hence India will play against arch-rival Pakistan much before the ICC T20 World cup then. If both the teams can reach final, it will be double treat for Cricket lovers.
