Netflix, the Worldwide popular Video subscription platform has forayed into India three weeks back to make its presence felt which is already present in 130 countries.
However, the video collection bank has so far not made any impact and it can’t win Indian Market in future also. Here are the obstructions for Netflix in Indian market.
Though Netflix has huge collection of International videos, it doesn’t have Indian video collection. Netflix charges a high price of Rs 500 to 800 per month which is very high for average Indian user and that too when many cheap options are available. The widespread of Torrents in India also is a major setback for Netflix.
Huge percent of the Indian users would love to watch regional content than going for international videos. The lack of high end Technology with users also doesn’t give them the unique experience that Netflix offers.
Considering all these, the survival of Netflix in India is very difficult.
