It seems that the makers of Baahubali 2 are in trouble with the animal rights activists as they are seeking stern action against them for allegedly using and torturing an elephant during the recent schedule of shooting.
Heritage Animal Task Force has recently sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking him to take Baahubali makers Shobhu Yarlagadda, Devineni Prasad and director Rajamouli into custody for illegally using an elephant for the shoot during the recent schedule in Kerala, without taking permission from the Animal Welfare Board of India.
Task Force Secretary Venkatachalam said in the letter that an elephant was forced to stand amidst the high beam electric light for four hours during the shooting for maximum color effect and graphic illustration.
On the other hand, makers of Baahubali claimed that they did not use real elephant but just used graphics.
But, Venkatachalam reiterated that during the period of shooting, over 50 locals heard the elephant roars.
