Andhra Pradesh govt. and people are yet to come out of the terror unleashed by the agitators during Kapu Aikya Garjana demanding the inclusion of Kapu community in BCs and the state govt. received another threat and this time from BCs.
As many as 30 BC community leaders formed a Joint Action Committee in Vijayawada and threatened the State Government against passing the GO including Kapu community in BCs. The BC leaders stated that they would call for statewide agitations if the govt. succumbs to the demands of Kapus who are already financially well settled and need no reservations.
The BC-JAC clarified that they were not against the welfare of Kapu or any other community. They further said that there are financially backward people in every community including Kapu and asked the government should form a committee to empower the financially backward in all communities.
BC-JAC suggested that the committee should in keep in mind not to affect the already existing BC reservations.
