South Indian Superstar Rajnikanth is said to be in dilemma over the upcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
Rajikanth is considered the Box Office king irrespective of the release dates of his Movies. Even if it is not a Holiday season, his Films do phenomenal business at box office. He doesn’t have to postpone his films for no one but now Rajnikanth himself has requested the makers of his upcoming film ‘Kabali’ to postpone the film’s release.
“Kabali” is in the last leg of production and is aiming at an April 2016 release. Since it is Summer, the film will get mammoth openings. But, Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections will also fall in the same month. Rajini opines that releasing the film in election season is not a wise move. Hence Rajni is requesting his producers to postpone the release of the film to April end or May.
After debacles like of Kochadaiiyaan and Linga, Rajini is keen to make a grand comeback and entrusted in young filmmaker Ranjith to make Kabali, which Features him as a retired don. Radhika Apte plays his wife and Dhansika plays his daughter.
