Thala Ajith’s sister-in-law Shamili, who has immense recognition as a child actor, has recently shocked actor Dhanush.
After making her debut as a leading lady with Siddharth starrer Telugu Film ‘Oye’, Shamili took a long sabbatical and recently entered Kollywood by signing two films. One is Vikram Prabhu starrer ‘Veera Sivaji’ and the other is Dhanush’s ‘Kodi’. This film also has Trisha playing negative role.
But, as per the latest report, it is confirmed that Malayalam actress Madonna Sebastian has replaced Shamili in this film. The exact reason behind the replacement of Shamili is not known yet but makers claim that she couldn’t allot dates when the team wanted to finish the entire shooting in a single schedule.
However, sources close to Shamili revealed that she opted out of the film after her role was reduced. Change of heroine is definitely a jolt for Dhanush, who is also producing ‘Kodi’.
The film Features Dhanush in dual role and the shooting is now going on at brisk pace. Directed by Durai Senthilkumar, Kodi is said to be a political thriller.
