As per the latest speculations in Tollywood circles, mega hero Varun Tej and acclaimed director Krish’s yet to be launched ‘Rayabari’ has been shelved.
It is heard that the Film requires huge Budget, almost double to the present Market range of Varun. A film’s business primarily depends on hero and spending much than hero’s range will result in cost failure project, which was proved many times in the past.
Varun Tej and Krish’s previous Movie Kanche was critically acclaimed but it was a commercial failure. Massive budget spent on the film was prime reason for the flop result. It may be noted that Varun Tej is yet to score a commercial hit.
Now, the producers are not willing to invest huge budget quoted by Krish for Rayabari so the film is shelved. As the film is supposed to be shot extensively in Foreign locales, acquiring permissions is also a herculean task.
Varun Tej will next work with either Gopichand Malineni or young director Venky Atluri for a film to be made under Dil Raju’s production.
