Mega power star Ram Charan Tej is all set to play the lead role in the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Movie Thani Oruvan. ‘Rakshak’ was the title under consideration earlier but now we hear that ‘Dhruva’ has almost been confirmed.
The title is catchy and instantly connective. It even got the approval of Megastar Chiranjeevi so an official announcement can be expected. The remake will be directed by Surender Reddy and the Film will start its regular shooting from 18th of this month. Ram Charan will play the role of a righteous IPS officer.
It is a thriller based on mind games between a cop and a ruthless and cunning businessman. Veteran actor Aravind Swamy who played the villain role in the original, will reprise his role in Telugu version also.
Charan is pairing with Rakul Preet in this film. Even though their last film “Bruce Lee” was a failure, the pair got good marks. So, Cherry decided to repeat her. Hiphop Thamizha is scoring music for this Telugu remake as well.
‘Dhruva’ is aiming to release in August.
