Bollywood lyricist Sameer Anjaan has entered the Guinness Book of World Records for writing the most number of Songs, 3,524 for total 650 Films.
In fact, there was no such category as the ‘most number of Songs’ in the Guinness Book, but it was added to accommodate a new record.
Sameer Anjaan started his career as a lyricist in 1983 with Bekhabar Movie. Films such as Dil and Aashiqui established him as a popular name. In his 33-year-long career, he won three Filmfare Awards among other accolades. His collaboration with legends like Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik made the 90s the Best musical decade of the Hindi films.
Sameer was liked by both with the Audiences and the singers. He used to write in the simple language that common people can understand.
