Just few days after announcing Rs 1500 Cr fund for Kapu community, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supreme Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced Rs 1000 Crore fund towards the welfare of Muslims from the next Financial Year.
This move of Chandrababu is being seen as a Strategy to woo Muslims in AP. He might not want an agitation like Kapu community from Muslims. He assured that AP government is working towards social justice.
Chandrababu also announced that a socio-economic survey would be conducted to estimate the living conditions of various Minority Communities in the state. He also assured that the State Government would allocate funds to other backward and minority communities based on the survey and its recommendations.
However, Political Analysts say feel that this move of Naidu would bring TDP the name of playing religious politics game.
