Few stunning revelations can be seen from the Mood of the Nation Opinion Poll conducted by the India Today Group.
Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been voted as Best Chief Minister in India, for the second year in a row. He was followed by Nitish Kumar (Bihar), Mamatha Banerjee (West Bengal) and Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh).
The opinion poll rated Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most popular PM choice for the next term. A sizeable 58 per cent rated Modi’s performance good and 40% of respondents voted for Modi when asked about the choice of Prime Minister for the next term.
Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi got 8% of votes last year but he has got a remarkable 22% this year.
As per the survey, NDA Government can still manage to form the government if elections take place now but BJP can’t win enough seats to form the government on its own.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has emerged as the most popular CM in his state with 83% people of his state voting in favor of him.
