Akkineni Nagarjuna is literally over the moon these days after the stupendous success of his latest release ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.
The comments of Nagarjuna at the recent press meet have become a talking point in Film circles. He took a dig at younger generation star heroes with his sarcastic statements.
Speaking at the success meet of ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, senior Akkineni hero thanked the Audiences for making ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ collect a Share of Rs 50 crore. He revealed that the total Budget of the Movie was well below Rs 20 crore. Considering the return on Investment, this is real success, added Nag.
He didn’t stop there and said that there will be no use for anyone if a movie made with a budget of Rs 50 crore or more collects the same amount in its full run.
It is known that budgets of films of all the star heroes of Tollywood are anywhere around Rs 50 crore. Most of those films either end up falling short of the break even sum or just collect the total investment.
Nag told the truth but his open statement irked fans of star heroes.
