Hyderabad people might soon witness water dispensing Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in the city.

During its recent review meeting, Hyderabad Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) authorities have approved the proposal to set up Water ATMs in the city ahead of the Summer season.

Water ATMs will be modeled on the lines of money dispensing ATMs. Hyderabad people will be able to use kiosks to get one litre drinking water for just Rs 1 if this mission gets accomplished.

The HMWS&SB has also decided to create awareness among citizens of water conservation.
