Everyone is going gaga over the visuals and the looks of Suriya in the Teaser of his upcoming Film ‘24’ but don’t get surprised when we tell you that Superstar Mahesh Babu was the original choice for this forthcoming science fiction thriller.
Mahesh had reportedly turned down ‘24’ as he didn’t like the second half. Mahesh loved the first half though. Somehow he wasn’t too convinced with the second half. Director Vikram Kumar then approached Suriya, who readily accepted to act in the film.
Well, this is the second time Suriya has accepted a film that was rejected by Mahesh. Earlier, director Lingusamy had approached Mahesh with an action story. After Mahesh rejected it, Lingusamy made that story as Anjaan (Sikandar in Telugu) with Suriya.
Well, we all know the disastrous result of Anjaan. Mahesh must have predicted that result. Has Mahesh predicted similar fate for ‘24’?
Vikram Kumar is known for narrating complicated stories in simplest manner. His ‘Manam’ was also a complicated time Travel romantic thriller but his narration was so typical that the film has become a cult Movie now.
We have to see if Mahesh’s prediction comes true or Vikram Kumar’s talent beats him?
