Sensation director Shankar is currently making high Budget VFX extravaganza ‘2.0’ starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.
The Film is said to be the Most Expensive flick ever made in India as the budget of this highly anticipated film is said to be over Rs 350 Cr. As per latest reports, Lyca Productions, the makers of ‘2.0’, has insured the Movie for humongous Rs 350 Cr.
It may be noted that the producers are spending at least a crore per day for the shooting. It will be a huge loss for them if any accident occurs on sets. This is a smart move by he makers to insure the film for such unbelievable amount.
Currently, the shooting of ‘2.0’ is progressing at a huge set erected in Chennai. Action sequences between Rajini and Akshay Kumar are said to be filmed under the supervision of Hollywood stunt choreographers.
‘2.0’ is likely to release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam just like Baahubali did. We can expect a mid 2017 release.
