South Korean capital Seoul will activate day-to-day checks for hidden cameras in public toilets in response to complaints over Videos taped using spy cameras.

According to Police, over 26,000 victims between 2012 and 2016 have been identified. Many of them go unreported.

Right now, the government of Seoul employs only 50 inspectors to monitor over 20,000 public bathrooms once a month.

It is learnt that government had failed to find any cameras in the past two years.

According to government data, the majority of culprits, over 90%, are men.
