A Super Over is an eliminator process applied in event of a draw.

Asia Cup 2018 edition has introduced the concept of Super Over. Based on understanding, the Super Over concept will ensure that the cup is not Shared by two teams.
A Super Over is an eliminator process applied in event of a draw. Originally, the concept was introduced in the T20s however International Cricket Council (ICC) is planning to broadly use the method.
A Super Over comprises of six deliveries and two wickets for each side. Nevertheless, the runs scored by a player in a Super Over are not added in individual International Cricket records.
Rules:
The ICC state the official rules for Super Overs in the Standard Twenty20 International Match Playing Conditions, valid from 1 October 2012.
A Super Over determines the winner of matches ending with the scores tied according to the following rules:
1. The Super Over will start 10 minutes after the main match. Each team bats one over under the equivalent restrictions.
2. The team batting second in the main match will bat first in the Super Over.
3. Each side has three nominated batsmen, meaning that the loss of two wickets ends the Super Over.
4. In the event of the scores being level in the Super Over, the first fulfilled of the following criteria will determine the winner:
i) If the regular match used the Duckworth–Lewis method, criterion 4 immediately applies.
ii) The team with the greatest number of boundaries combined from the main match and the Super Over is the winner.
iii) The team with the greatest number of boundaries from the main match (that is, not including the Super Over) is the winner
iv) A count-back from the final ball of the Super Over shall be conducted. The team with the higher scoring delivery is the winner.
