Neutrality in Journalism aims to help the Audience or general public make up their own mind about a story, providing the facts alone and then letting them interpret those on their own.

To maintain neutrality in journalism, journalists should present the facts whether or not they like or agree with those facts.

Impartial reporting is meant to portray issues and events in a neutral and unbiased manner, regardless of the writers opinion or personal beliefs.

But neutrality is dying in India, especially in Andhra Pradesh:

Over 80% of mainstream media organisations in Andhra Pradesh are in favour of ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP).  It is not at all that complicated to come up with this conclusion once you go through their style of reporting.

The way they invest in reporting to simply praise the TDP leaders, the way they hide heart-breaking issues to protect the credibility of the party and the way they mislead the people with biased reporting is mind-boggling.

Ruling party influence results in a biased presentation include the selection of staff, the preferences of an intended audience, and pressure from advertisers.
