American online social media and Social Networking service company Facebook recently reacted to a Lawsuit which accused the company of letting sex trafficking on its social network platform.

“Human trafficking is abhorrent and is not allowed on Facebook,” a spokesperson from the Facebook said.

According to an article published in Reuters, the lawsuit against Facebook was filed by a woman from Texas, US, claiming that she was lured into the sex trade at age 15 by a man who “friended” her on Facebook.

Facebook has also been subject to lawsuit cases over the years. Criticisms against the company are varied, including:
