Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that he would serve people of Andhra Pradesh and doesn’t have any wish to contest 2019 Parliamentary elections.
Chandrababu Naidu joined hands with Congress President Rahul Gandhi to oust BJP from Central Government in 2019.
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that he would not contest the 2019 Parliamentary elections as he wants to serve Andhra Pradesh as the leader of the state.
Following his meeting with Congress President Rahul Gandhi, there was a speculation that the Telugu Desam Party leader could contest in the forthcoming elections with an ambition to grab a top-notch Ministry at the central government.
However, pouring water in the rumour he said, ‘I have no intention of moving to anywhere.’
During his public meeting- ‘Grama Darshini’- he revealed his wish to the press. “After my visit to Delhi yesterday to bring together all anti-BJP forces, many had thought I had bigger ambitions. I want to make it clear. I will be in AP and I will remain your chief minister,” he said.
Following his meeting with Rahul Gandhi, there was a thought that he could leave state politics and joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDF) in a bid to oust BJP from the union government in 2019. However, he made it clear to the Andhra Pradesh citizen that he is here to stay in the state.
While justifying his decision to stay back in the state Naidu said that he has a wish to serve the people in his state of Andhra Pradesh and make the state the Best one in India.
“I am committed to this goal and am working towards realising this objective,’ he said to the press reckoning his work in Hyderabad and gifted it to the newly founded state of Telangana.
