AP chief minister and TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu received notices from the Hyderabad High Court over the murder attempt on the YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday received notices from the Hyderabad High Court over the murder attempt on the YSR Congress party president and main opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The Hyderabad High Court issued notices to the Central Government officials as well as Andhra Pradesh government officials over issue.
The bench asked the officials of the Central as well as State Government along with the airport authority officials to file Affidavits on the matter.
REASON Behind the move.
Earlier, YSR Congress Party political affairs committee member YV Subba Reddy and the party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have approached the High Court and filed a petition after a murder attempt was made on YS Jagan at Visakhapatnam airport.
In the writ petition they requested the court to investigate the case through an independent agency as they had lost trust in Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and the chief of the AP police department.
Jagan Mohan Reddy while boarding a flight to Hyderabad to attend Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court was attacked with a Knife Blade in the VIP Lounge of the Airport on 25 Oct 2018. Reddy sustained injury on Shoulder.
