As per reliable reports, legendary Indian Cricketer Rahul Dravid is likely to be appointed as the new coach of Team India.
BCCI Advisory Committee comprising of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman have reportedly contacted Rahul Dravid to know if he is interested to take over as Team India’s coach. We heard that Dravid has asked them to give him some time to give the opportunity a thought before taking a final call.
If Dravid agrees to coach Indian team, he will head the unit of Sanjay Bangar, Bharat Arun and R Sridhar who currently are serving as assistant coach, bowling coach and fielding coach of Team India respectively.
It may noted that after Rahul Dravid taken reign as Chief Coach of India’s Under-19 Team, it reached the final of the recently concluded U-19 World cup. Dravid is currently assigned as the mentor of IPL Franchise Delhi Daredevils.
