The ongoing happenings in PoK confirm that China is constructing underground power projects in the area.
As per reports, the Chinese Ministry of Water and Power is working closely with Pakistan to construct an interconnecting electrical grid between the two nations to enable them to utilize each other’s resources. Pakistan’s Water and Power Secretary has confirmed these happenings at the Global Energy Interconnection Conference in Beijing.
Trade between Pakistan and China will increase by 24 percent after the completion of this China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project. It might prove costly India’s safety in the future.
Recently, at the UN meeting, China stood against India at the issue of Jaish-e-Mohammad Chief Maulana Masood Azhar, who India believes to be the mastermind of the terror attack on Pathankot Airbase.
China seems to be strongly supporting Pakistan and its interests to keep its dominance over India.
