The beginning of 2018 was thought to have a splendid year ahead but no wonder there can be no event without controversies. To begin with, the release of Padmavat on January fascinated many of the Audience’s whereas there was outrage with the name of the Movie as to why is it named Padmavati earlier and about the typical Rajput customs and traditions.
The second controversy was Siddharth Malhotra and Kangana Ranaut, they both had specific issues to be resolved.
The third was the MeToomovement that was started by Tanushree Dutta against Nana Patekar for harassing her on sets of movie Horn Ok Please which got Tanushree many supporters as well as Nana’s defenders. Amongst the cases of harassment names such as Tanmay Bhat, GursimranKhamba, Anu Malik, Subhash Ghai and Sajid Khan were also found.
