Telangana CM KCR’s son and TRS party working President KTR and YSR Congress party chief Y.S. Jagan on Wednesday had a meeting to discuss over the formation of Federal Front at centre against the NDA and UPA.
Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR)’s son and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party working president K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday met with YSR Congress party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to have a discussion over the formation of Federal Front at centre against the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the United Progressive Alliance (UPA).
Following a two-hour long meeting, both the leaders spoke to media reporters.

KCR’s son KTR said, “the meeting between TRS and YSR Congress leaders was part of KCR’s efforts to form a Federal front as a substitute to both the NDA and the UPA.
YS Jagan, the leader of opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly said, “ I welcome KCR’s Initiative to form a platform at national level and to bring the like-minded regional parties together to fight for the rights of the states.”
Jagan Reddy also said that “regional parties ought to unite for the sake of development of the states.”
He further said the Member of Parliamentarians (MP’s) quantity should also increase so that the regional parties can hold more power in parliament house.
Both the leaders confirmed that the further discussions on Federal front formation will take place in coming days.
YSR congress leaders Vijaysai Reddy, YV Subbareddy, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Mithun Reddy and Parthasaradhi, along with TRS leaders Vinod, Santosh, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Sravan Kumar Reddy attended the meeting.
