Sonu Sood is high of confidence after the success of his recent flick Simmba. However, one controversy which has surrounded him for months is him quitting the ambitious project of Manikarnika- The queen of Jhansi. The movie stars Kangana Ranaut as Jhansi Ki Rani.
Now finally, after keeping mum over his quit for months, Sonu Sood has spoken about his reason for quit. In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Sonu said that when they were asked to reshoot some portions of the movie as Kangana did not like it, he found that majority of his pieces are cut out in the final edit. This hurt him as it took loads of physical and mental strength to shoot for those scenes. Hence he opted out of the project.
Let’s see what the fate of Manikarnika will be at Box Office. The movie is going to hit the theatres on January 25.
